PromptStudio is a private organiser for the context you reuse: project instructions, tone, goals, personas and working notes. Save the useful parts, arrange the right pieces into a prompt, then copy it into the tool you already use.

No. PromptStudio does not run an AI model, generate answers or images, or rewrite your work. It helps you organise and prepare your own context. Any AI generation happens in the separate service you choose.

Writers, designers, developers, musicians, planners and anyone who keeps explaining the same project or way of working. Start with one recurring task. You do not need to be a prompt engineer.

PromptStudio does not need an API key and is not tied to one AI provider. You can copy its output wherever it is useful. Access, prices and usage limits for an external AI service are separate.

A workspace holds a project or recurring workflow and its current prompt. A block is a reusable piece of context, such as your tone, constraints or brief. A persona describes a role or point of view that you can reuse across different workspaces.

No. You work with named cards and text fields. PromptStudio assembles the XML structure for you, keeping different parts of the prompt clearly labelled. You can preview the result before copying it.

Yes. The Getting started library offers Personas, Presets and Workflows. Personas and presets give you reusable building blocks; a workflow creates a private workspace you can adapt. Save the items you want to keep, then choose what to use in your own work.

Project Log keeps dated decisions, problems, open questions and next actions beside your workspace. A waypoint saves a useful summary of where the project stands, so you have context ready when you return.

The original waypoint summary stays unchanged. Add a separate correction or a replacement waypoint as the project develops. Entries you add to a prompt become saved copies, so later changes to the log do not silently rewrite that prompt.

No. You choose what to write or paste. There is no automatic chat access, scraping or background AI connection. The waypoint helper gives you a prompt to copy into your existing AI conversation; you bring back the summary you want to save.

Your context stays yours. You choose what to save, edit, use in a prompt or delete. Adding material to your workspace does not publish it or contribute it to the shared starter library.

No. Your workspaces, personas, blocks, project logs and Trash are private to your account. The app checks ownership on the server before allowing access. Public news and the starter library are separate from your personal content.

PromptStudio does not run or train AI models, and it does not automatically send your workspace content to an AI provider. You decide what to copy into another tool. Once you paste material into an external service, that service handles it under its own settings and policies.

Your content is stored on the servers used to run this website, linked to your WordPress account. That makes it available when you sign in from another device.

Private account access is not end-to-end encryption. The site operator and hosting infrastructure can have technical access to stored data. PromptStudio is an online workspace, so avoid treating it as a vault for passwords, API keys or other secrets.

We are considering workspace sharing for a future update. The intended approach is invite-only access, with sharing disabled by default. You would choose whether to enable sharing and whom to invite.

Sharing is not available in the current version, and there is no announced release date. Your existing workspaces remain private; a future sharing feature would not make them public automatically.

The administrator can read the message you send through Contact and may receive an email notification with its subject and a short preview. Your prompts, blocks and workspace contents are not automatically attached. Include only the details you want to share in that message.

Use groups, tags, colours and favourites in the Organiser. Search as you type and choose all sections or just the section you are using. You can pin up to ten chosen workspaces to the sidebar and arrange their order.

Deleted workspaces, personas, blocks and log entries go to your private Trash. The default recovery window is 30 days. User settings offers 7, 14, 30, 60 or 90 days for new deletions; items already in Trash keep their displayed expiry date.

Restore an item before that date. Removing a copy from a prompt or unsaving a library item is different from deleting its reusable source.

You can copy a finished prompt as readable XML and save it in your own files or use it in another tool. You can also copy individual text. A complete account or workspace download is not currently available. Trash provides a recovery window for deleted items; keep your own copies of work you need to retain.

Yes. PromptStudio is free to use for everyone. Workspaces, blocks, personas, project logs, waypoints and attachments are included. No payment details are needed to get started. Attachment storage is limited to 100 MB per account.

Yes. Choose light or dark mode, then open User settings to adjust text size and the expanded sidebar width. Your saved appearance settings follow your account. You can also choose your Trash retention period there.

Open Help & feedback inside the studio for guidance, or use Contact to send a question, report a problem or suggest an improvement. Contact is asynchronous messaging. The automatic acknowledgement confirms receipt, and a later reply appears in the app when someone follows up.
